Introduction
With CLANNAD now Steam, a lot of people might be wondering what choices they should make in the game to reach the good endings. Well, to help you guys out, we have prepared this walkthrough that should be quite useful! This walkthrough was designed to accompany the CLANNAD Bookclub, so it'll be following the route order we will be using for the Bookclub.All walkthroughs, with the exception of the Baseball route, will only include choices essential to getting the route. Regular text means that it is a required choice to get the route. Strike-throughed text means that the choice might appear depending on your other choices, but you must not choose it, otherwise it'll lock you into another route. Italicized text means that the choice isn't necessary for the route, but would be needed for some bonus scenes.This walkthrough was made possible thanks to the CLANNAD Visual Fan Book, which we checked in Japanese, and matched to the choices in the Steam release.
Baseball Route
This is an optional, fun route that's a great way to start the game. This part of the walkthrough was made with the intent of being able to meet as much characters as possible in one playthrough. As such, it will list all the choices in sequence. After Story
After Story is the second part, and what is largely considered the main story, of CLANNAD. In order to unlock After Story, you must have obtained a total of 8 "lights" from the different character routes, and have finished the Nagisa and Fūko routes. Once you have finished those, the "After Story" option will appear on the title screen.Note: if you lose a light after obtaining it, that will not affect your progress for unlocking After Story.First PlaythroughIn order to get all the lights from the first playthrough, this guide assumes that you finished the Nagisa route and selected all the underlined choices above, then make the following choices in After Story: It's not too much, it's impossible Answer honestly Sing Ask if there's more ...... @moshiwakeda Thanks for the link. Indeed this walkthrough made me mess up things as I ended after story with only 11 orbs and I haven't even see Kyou, wtf!

Totally new to this game and will probably continue blind for the first time. But i'm curious, since Nagisa is the first character we meet.The guide lists "ignore her", which I assume is that first scene?April 15Ignore herGo down to the courtyardDoes this mean that if I didn't ignore her, and still do everything else as in the guide, I will not be in the Nagisa route? What would happen then? I guess that if the question can't be answered without spoilers, I would rather not have an answer. I'm just confused about how a single mistake would lock you out of a character route.

I just discovered that, if you follow this guide but do koumura's route before tomoyo's, you can unlock the 64 combo achievement right at the first try.

follow a different guide for nagisa, otherwise you'll miss out on one scene in the high school arc and at least one in the after story

Yukine's spell also work with Fuko but just like Misae she doesn't have a scene in the shed

This guide is fantastic, thanks for making it. I really appreciate that it's written in a way that left freedom to explore different choices through the common route, and clearly identified which choices to avoid so that you don't go off route, which are for additional scenes, which are required for the route or for orbs. Thanks!

Could anyone please help me? I’m stuck in After Story with just 12 orbs. I’ve used several guides, but for some reason I can’t get the “Go look” choice :c

How is this so well rated when this didn't help at all, a lot of choices aren't here and some of them are lined off...this guide is terrible
